By now, most experienced users of CBD have heard the hype about CBD vape pens. Discrete and fast-acting, this relative newcomer to the CBD scene has gained quite the loyal following – and for good reason. With arguably the fastest absorption rate of all ingestion methods, it is no surprise that vape brands are popping up left and right ready to make a name for themselves in the booming industry. My CBDistillery GG#4 review put the vape pen to the ultimate test – is it worth a buy?
My introduction to the CBD vape world is still fairly new, but after an incredible experience last week trying CBD Luxe’s “Be Alert” pen, I headed to my nearby CBD store to give a few more brands a try. I decided to test out CBDistillery’s pen next. Although they are fairly established in the CBD world, I haven’t had much personal experience with their products. I figured this would be the perfect opportunity to give the famous brand a try, so I grabbed the 200mg GG#4 disposable vape and headed home, ready to see if it lived up to the glowing reviews.
One thing that stood out to me about this product was the unique Tec Temper oil formula used, that according to their website is “arguably a better alternative to other cutting agents, including triple distilled MCT oil.” Formulated with a blend of terpenes and antioxidants, I was eager to see if this vaping experience would be any different than the others I had recently tried.
The first thing I noticed when I tried the product was the taste, which felt oddly harsh compared to the other CBD pens I had recently reviewed. While it wouldn’t be fair to compare the taste to that of CBD Luxe’s flavored line, it wasn’t as smooth as I had anticipated. This surprised me since the Tec Temper formula was advertised as providing a “smoother vaping experience.”
In the grand scheme of things though, there was only one thing that truly mattered in this CBDistillery GG#4 review – the overall efficacy of the product. As with most CBD vapes, the calming effects were almost instantaneous. While I certainly felt better after a few puffs, I didn’t experience the high level of focus I had with the last brands I tested. It is also worth noting that my primary reason for using CBD is to calm my overactive mind, so while this probably wouldn’t be my number one choice in pens for me personally, I cannot say the same for those seeking relief from physical symptoms.
Overall, people seem to really like this product, and at a reasonable $28 for 200mg, I can safely say that I am satisfied with this purchase.
